On April 5-6, 2024, we participated in the 11th Seminar of the West Pomeranian Offshore Cluster in Kolobrzeg. The Wind Industry Hub (WIH) Foundation was represented by Vice President PhD Arkadiusz Sekściński and Offshore Wind Energy, Investment and Development Expert PhD Oliwia Mróz-Malik. Our presentation “The impact of offshore wind energy on the development of the Polish supply chain” indicated how important it is to support the industrial base in Poland and strengthen the role of Polish companies in the offshore wind energy supply chain.
An important substantive point was the debate ” Shipbuilding and OffshoreWind” attended by Arkadiusz Marchewka – Deputy Minister of Infrastructure responsible for maritime economy, Dariusz Wieczorek, Minister of Science, Andrzej Montwiłł – President of the Cluster, Plenipotentiary of the Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Paweł Porzycki – Member of the Supervisory Board at the Company Development Fund S.A., Patryk Zbroja – attorney, member of the Supervisory Board of the Szczecin and Swinoujscie Sea Ports Authority, Rafal Zahorski – member of the Supervisory Board at Stocznia Szczecińska “Wulkan” sp. z o.o., and Piotr Gajlewicz – member of the Supervisory Board at Maritime Repair Yard Gryfia.
