On March 26-27, we were in Gdańsk, where the PowerConnect Energy Summit conference was held.
The rise in electricity costs is a topic that electrifies entrepreneurs and market leaders. Will Europe become less attractive to investors? What strategies can help maintain competitiveness? Or is it time for innovation and a new development model?
Dominika Taranko, Vice President of the Wind Industry Hub Foundation, answered these questions on Wednesday, March 26th, during a panel discussion entitled “Energy prices and their impact on industrial development. Will Europe lose its competitiveness?”
The discussion was moderated by Dr. Krzysztof Księżopolski from the Warsaw School of Economics, and the other panelists were:
📌 Krzysztof Kilian, Minister of Communications in 1992–1993,
📌 Michał Smoleń, head of the Energy and Climate Research Program, Instrat Foundation.
Of course, there was also room to discuss the Polish Strategy for the Development of Offshore Wind Farm Industry, the implementation of which will help domestic suppliers and service providers to remain competitive on an international scale.
The next day, a session entitled “The Role of Pomerania in the Industrial Policy of Poland” was held, moderated by Dominika Taranko, with the following participants in the discussion:
📌 Jakub Wnuczyński, CEO Baltic Towers,
