Last week, Wind Industry Hub Vice President and Managing Director Dominika Taranko took part in the Roundtable on Energy Construction at the 2nd Polish Construction Congress 🛠️

The discussion took place directly after the official beginning of the Congress and covered the  fundamental issues related to our national investments in the energy transition, which will not materialize without the active participation of the construction industry, and which are estimated in the trillions of PLN by 2040 💬.

Among the conclusions of the discussions are:
💥 the need for a unified decision-making center on issues related to energy construction, or energy transition more broadly
💥 greater awareness on the part of corporate governance of the need for domestic procurers to engage Polish suppliers in a mobilized supply chain
💥 the need to develop a long-term investment plan in Poland to ensure a stable market for contractors (strategies)
💥 increased efforts to apply a code of good practice, including equal distribution of contractual risks between parties, bringing cooperation and payment models in line with Western European standards
💥 the urgent need to train engineers who can handle energy investments
💥 structuring of PA activities on the part of the energy construction segment.

We would like to thank the organizers for the invitation, and the other participants in the session for the lively discussion!
