“I hope that we can exchange experiences and build new relationships, united by the sea and the wind,” said King Frederick X of Denmark at the Szczecin Philharmonic.

Three extremely important political and economic days are behind us. The visit of the Danish delegation headed by King Frederick X, who visited Warsaw and Szczecin in the company of the heads of key ministries and dozens of companies, only confirmed that Poland presents an extraordinary economic potential. A lot of attention was paid to wind energy, including offshore wind projects, in the speeches of both the King and the Minister of Climate and Energy, Lars Aagaard.

The last day of the visit began with the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the construction of the Vestas factory, and at the end of the “Wind, Waves and Wires” conference (at the Polski Theatre in Szczecin) a business networking session was held in cooperation with Wind Industry Hub (WIH). The event was an ideal place to exchange knowledge and experience with representatives of the RES sector in Poland and Denmark. During the B2B meetings, the topics of Polish-Danish cooperation, which has a chance to accelerate the energy transition in Poland, were discussed. The topics of networking have been divided into four categories:

  • Onshore/Offshore Wind
  • Maritime Industry, Engineering and Design
  • Renewable Parks and Sector Coupling
  • Advisory and Consultancy.

Thank you for your interest in our event.

Words of thanks and appreciation are due to Embassy of Denmark in Poland, which perfectly managed the visit of the Danish delegation and the accompanying events.
