On April 24-25 in Katowice, the RE- Source Hub Foundation organized a conference dedicated to energy consumers and generators entitled. “Green energy for business”.As participants emphasized, during the event they gained a lot of valuable knowledge about cPPAs, the energy market, and cooperation between generators and consumers.
Wind Industry Hub Foundation Board Member Dr. Arkadiusz Sekscinski participated in the panel “Can green energy drive equitable transformation of regions” and moderated the workshop “Green energy of the offshore supply chain”, of which WIH was a partner.
Participants in the discussion included:
Jakub Wnuczynski – Baltic Towers
Bartosz Wilk – Business Energy Solutions
Grzegorz Wysocki MBA ACCA
Maciej Kowalski – Ignitis Poland
The participants presented the perspective of those making investments in the offshore wind segment, including the expectation that the entire production chain should be based on the principle of minimizing the carbon footprint. The panel also discussed how to approach the green energy contracting process. Past best practices in creating “green” supply chains and the benefits they have brought to companies that have implemented this approach were also presented.
Warm thanks and congratulations to the organizers of the RE- Source Hub Foundation.
