On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, Dominika Taranko took part in the 21st Congress of the Polish Chamber of Steelwork, where the prospects for the development of the industry in the face of further energy transition, the construction of new wind farms and the support that KPO funds will provide to the economy were discussed.
The Vice President and Managing Director of Wind Industry Hub gave a lecture entitled. “Prospects for wind energy development in Poland and Europe. Strategy for engagement of the national supply chain”, and then took part in a panel discussion, the other guests of whom were:
📌 Zbigniew Barłóg – President, Polish Chamber of Steel Structures and Metalbark sp. z o.o.
📌 Joanna Kotowicz – Manager, PKO Bank Polski.

📌 Tomasz Borzęcki – Vice President, Mostostal Siedlce Sp. z o.o.
📌 Andrzej Sidło – Advisor, Ministry of Industry.
📌 Jacek Lech – President of the Board, Mostostal Kraków S.A.
💡 During the panel, an interesting discussion emerged about the impact of NIP funds on a possible boost for the steel construction sector. Representatives of manufacturing companies asked the State Authorities and Institutions to put more emphasis on creating favorable conditions for large enterprises with tens and hundreds of employees.
💡 Creating a coherent industrial policy is also one of the goals of the Wind Industry Hub Foundation, which with its activities and dialogue with the government administration is trying to convince decision-makers to take the right steps in strengthening local content and increasing the importance of domestic companies in the wind industry.
We warmly thank the organizers for the invitation, and the other experts for the fruitful discussion!
